My Addictions
To Kill a Nation: The Attack on Yugoslavia by Michael Parenti
This book is a must-read if you want to know what really motivated the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. This book pulls no punches and doesn’t sugar-coat anything. It will make you ashamed to be an American.
“Libar” by Gibonni
A wonderful love song, my friend turned me on to Gibonni last year. This song is from his album Mirakul. His latest CD is Unca Fibre.
“Clerks” (Kevin Smith)
Kevin Smith’s first — and best — film. The remake, geddouddahere! It can’t touch this film for its poignancy, freshness — even 10 years later — and saucy thumbing of convention. The scene with the gentleman using the convenience store’s bathroom, and the aftermath later in the day — is sheer genius.
Pssst!! There’s more on my Listening page.
