Chair-ity Begins at Home

Posted: March 26th, 2004 | Filed Under: Uncategorized |

Here’s another example of why I just can’t stand my neighbors. As you know from a previous post, I cleaned off my front porch and my patio chair. Well, last night I was in the front room working on the computer. I decided I better check the mail. When I leaned out my door and grabbed the mail out of the mailbox, I immediately noticed the chair was missing.

Creative Juices

I contributed a couple of my existing free blog templates to the pool over at BlogSkins.com. There’s a need for more MT templates, including the suite of comment/trackback templates. Slowly but surely, I’ll convert several of the more popular designs of mine. I’m also working on another new one for the hot summer days ahead. Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, I’ve resurrected my Easter Lily template from last Spring. Enjoy.

Dirty Talk

The landlady told me I needed to clean our front porch off (she didn’t say when, exactly) because an appraiser is coming by to inspect the property. It’s something that I hadn’t done since I got here. Everything that was on our upstairs balcony in the old place just got summarily dumped here. I took some photos which I was going to upload using MovableType. But because it is for some reason fuxored as to uploading photos, let along creating thumbnails, I’ve dumped all the photos into my Gallery. So go. Check it out. I feel much better. And I’m sure I feel better than I smell. I’m headed for the shower. Later!

Site Redo

I just finished a site redo for my web design site, Webjones.org. It’s cleaner, leaner and meaner. And I’ll be dropping prices shortly. Stay tuned.

It’s Friday Again!

Heather, over at FridayFive is probing deep into our lives this week….

1. What was the last song you heard? Kitty Kat by the Blue Knights, on my CD player in the car on the way home from my Z Club of Houston meeting last night.

2. What were the last two movies you saw? Training Day on the DVD player a few weeks ago while cleaning out dresser drawers one evening. More recently, I watched Clerks on the computer’s DVD player this past weekend.

3. What were the last three things you purchased? My dinner last night at the Longhorn Cafe, a package of Whiska Lickins for the cats, and gasoline for the Honda.

4. What four things do you need to do this weekend? Do laundry; clean house; recharge cell phone batteries; club work.

5. Who are the last five people you talked to? Robert (on the phone last night), the Z club gang last night at the meeting.

Uh, can you tell what I did last night from this?!
